Current Situation of Clinical Research of Heart Failure with Normal Ejection Fraction

Abstract：Objective To understand the current conditions of clinical research of heart failure with normal ejection fraction,and to pro-vide reference for further clinical research.Methods Electronic search was done in CNKI,WangFang,VIP,Embase and Cochorane in ten years recently.The current situation of clinical research of heart failure with normal ejection fraction were analyzed.Results In 1984,investigator first proposed the idea that heart failure with normal ejection fraction had been cal ed diastolic heart failure for 30 years now.However,the study of heart failure with normal ejection fraction was not enough.In the past 10 years,even more and more studies focused on the heart failure with normal ejection fraction,it was insufficient to compare with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (systolic heart failure). Conclusion The diagnostic criteria of heart failure with normal ejection fraction was not uniform. What’s more,the pathomechanism was stil unclear,and there was no guideline for treatment and medicine.Most of medicine just could improve the clinical symptom without effect on prognosis.Therefore,the study with large sample,completely mortality and com-posite endpoint and long fol ow up was needed to provide evidence to clinical research.
