Clinical Observation on Yiqi Huoxue Decoction in the Treatment of Recurrent Angina after Percutaneous Coronary Intervention:A Re-port of 38 Cases

Abstract：Objective To observe the clinical effect on Yiqi Huoxue decoction(YHD)in the treatment of recurrent angina with coronary heart disease (CHD)after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).Methods Seventy six patients with recurrent angina after PCI were randomly divided into two groups:Control group (n=38)treated with routine western medicine treatment,and treatment group (n=38)treated with routine western medicine treatment plus YHD for 14 days.Results The frequency and time of angina were better than before treatment in both groups (P<0.01),and efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM)syndromes and du-ration of angina in the treatment group were better than the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion YHD could shorten duration of recurrent angina in patients after PCI,improve the clinical symptoms,and had good safety.
