Effect of Bushen Huoxue Decoction on the Content of Serum Soluble Fibrin Monomer Complex in Spontaneously Hypertensive Rats

Abstract：Objective To explore the effect of Bushen Huoxue decoction(BHD) on the content of serum soluble fibrin monomer com-plex(SFMC) in spontaneously hypertensive rats(SHR).Methods Twenty eight SHR were randomly divided into blank control group, indapamide group,epimedium group and BHD group,which was given distil ed water,indapamide solution,epimedium solution,BHD solution.After the treatment of 8 weeks,the content of serum SFMC was determined by ABC double antibody sandwich ELISA meth-od.Results Compared with the blank control group,the contents of serum SFMC were decreased in indapamide group,epimedium group and BHD group(P<0.01).Compared with indapamide group,epimedium group,the contents of serum SFMC were decreased in BHD group(P<0.01).Conclusion BHD,indapamide and epimedium can reduce the content of serum SFMC in SHR.
