Abstract：Dyslipidemia is the pathological basis of atherosclerosis,as wel as risk factor for the development of cardiovascular disea-ses.Effective control of lipid levels and delay the formation of atherosclerosis is very important in terms of prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease.Effect of traditional Chinese medicine is widespread.Chinese medicine is effective in correcting dyslipidemia and anti atherosclerotic.Chinese medicine research become a hot topic of research at home and abroad.This article makes a brief review of recent research on the study of dyslipidemia and atherosclerosis mechanism as wel as Chinese medicine monomer and compound Chinese medicine research in adjusting lipids,anti atherogenic aspects.
