Research on the Pertinence between Parameters Detected by the Pulse Apparatus and Brachial- ankle Artery Pulse Wave Velocity in Hypertensive Patients

Abstract：Objective Judging the pulse parameter detected by the pulse apparatus on the assessment of arterial elasticity function, seting up the mathematical axiom about the brachial artery arteria mal eolaris pulse wave velocity reflecting the degree of arterio-sclerosis.Methods Analysising of 80 patients with hypertension and biochemical indicators,examine its ankle brachial artery ar-tery pulse wave velocity comparing the same period and pulse condition parameters.Results RBAPWV and pulse parameters t,t5, h3,h4 was positively related(r=0.356,0.356,0.426,0.293,0.311,P<0.01),RBAPWV and h5 negatively(r= 0.423,P<0.01).Through the multiple stepwise regression analysis ,using RBAPWV as dependent variable,the biochemical indicators as in-dependent variable,it was found that high density lipoprotein (HDL),triglyceride(TG),cholesterol (CHOL)and age were inde-pendent influence factors(P<0.05).To establish a multiple linear regression equation which showed that it was significant(P<0.001). Conclusion RBAPWV has correlation with pulse condition parameters.Pulse condition instrument on evaluation of arterial elasticity function has the certain application value.
