Efficacy of Tongling Yangxin Decoction on Ventricular Remodeling in Patients with Pre clinical Heart Failure

Abstract：Objective To investigate the effect of Tongling Yangxin decoction(TYD)on ventricular remodeling in patients with pre clinical heart failure.Methods Sixty one patients with pre clinical heart failure and deficiency syndrome of qi and yin were ran-domly divided into two groups:The control group treated with routine treatment(preventing risk factors and treating the original dis-ease with angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor or angiotomin II receptor antagonist andβacceptor block agent without contraindi-cation),and the treatment group treated with routine treatment plus TYD for 6 months.The change of UCG were observed during the course.Results After treatment,left ventricular diastolic diameter (LVDd),left ventricular systolic diameter (LVDs),inter ventric-ular septum(IVS),PWD,left ventricular mass index(LVMI)were improved in treatment group(P<0.01).There was statistical sig-nificance in LVDd and LVMI between two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion TYD has a good effect on the pre clinical heart failure, which can improve the ventricular remodeling.
