Clinical Observation on Acupuncture Combined with Rehabilitation Training for Treatment of Infantile Cerebral Palsy

Abstract：Objective To observe the effect of acupuncture and rehabilitation training children cerebral palsy. Methods Fifty four children with cerebral palsy were randomly divided into two groups:Control group treated with acupuncture treatment,and treatment group treated with acupuncture and rehabilitation training.The scores of gross motor function scale(GMFM)and the Barthel index were observed.Results There was no significant difference in the scores of GMFM and Barthel index before the treatment between two groups(P>0.05).There was significant difference in the scores of GMFM and Barthel index after treatment between two groups (P<0.05).Conclusion The acupuncture and rehabilitation training can improve the limb motor function and the quality of life in in-fantile cerebral palsy,and its effect is better than simple acupuncture treatment.
