Abstract:Objective To study the intrinsic changes in brain regional homogeneity in migraine patients without aura using resting state functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).Methods Ten patients diagnosed of migraines without aura and another 10 genders and age matched healthy subjects were recruited to receive resting state fMRI scanning. The fMRI images were first processed with the software of Freesurfer,AFNI,SPM8,REST.Then,analyzed correlation of the images using Kendal ’s coefficient of concordance, and achieved theregional homogeneity data of the cerebral cortex. Results Compared with healthy subjects, the regional homogenei-ty of migraine patients without aura showed decreased in left anterior cingulate gyrus and posterior cingulate gyrus, left fusiform gy-rus,left inferior temporal gyrus, right middle frontal gyrus and inferior frontal gyrus, right precentral and postcentralgyrus, right lingual gyrus. Conclusion The results are helpful to explore the brain mechanism associated with pain and symptoms on migraine patients without aura from the aspect of brain function. It is great significance for the prevention, treatment and evaluation of clinical migraine without aura.
