Effects of Shenqi Fuzheng Injection on Endothelial Function and NT proBNP in Chronic Heart Failure

Abstract：Objective To study the effects of Shenqi Fuzheng injection(SFI)for treatment of chronic heart failure(CHF).Methods Seventy two patients with CHF were randomly divided into two groups:Control group(n= 36)treated by conventional western medicine treatment,and treatment group(n= 36)treated by conventional western medicine treatment plus SFI.The endothelial function and N terminal pro B type natriuretic peptide (NT proBNP)level were observed.Results The endothelial function and level of NT pro BNP in treatment group was significantly lower than that in control group(P<0.05),cardiac function was im-proved remarkably.Conclusion SFI can significantly improve the heart function in patients with CHF.
