Abstract：O bjective To investigate the serum levels o fC reactive pro teins (CRP) ,interleukin ( IL) 8,and IL 10 in iso lated at-ria l fibrilation ( IAF) .M ethods O ne hundred and tw enty eight patients w ith IAF and one hundred contro ls w ere enro led in the study. S erum levels of CRP and IL 8,IL 10w ere m easured ,respectively.Results Com pared to the contro ls ,the concentrations of serum CRP and IL 8w ere significantly increased and the concentration of serum IL 10wasmarkedly decreased in patients w ith IAF( P < 0.05) . C onclusion Inflamm ation m ight contribute closely to the occurrence and self sustaining of LAF .
