Abstract：Objective To investigate the effect of Anshen N ingxin capsule(ANC) on quality of sleep in insom nia with liver qi stagnation and heart spleen deficiency syndrom e .M ethods S ixty insom nia patients with liver qi stagnation and heart spleen defi-ciency syndrom e were random ly divided into two groups :Contro lgroup(n= 30) treated with alprazo lam tablets and treatm ent group (n = 30) treated with ANC for 4 weeks .P ittsburgh sleep quality index scoring system (PSQ I) and clinical sym ptom s self rating scale scores on sleep quality ,clinical sym ptom s and overal assessm ent of the effectiveness o fChinese m edicine ,and perform ing statistical analysis of adverse reactions were observed.Results There was difference in sleep quality ,and day features ,and sleep tim e ,and sleep efficiency ,and sleep obstacles and the to tal four aspects (P < 0.05) .The curative effects in treatm ent group was significantly higher than tha t in contro l group(P < 0.05) .There was no obvious adverse reaction in treatm ent group.Conclusion ANC could im-prove the quality of sleep in insom nia patients with liver qi stagnation and heart spleen deficiency syndrom e .
