Effect of Chifukang Oral Liquid and Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation on Prospective Memory Impairment after Stroke
Abstract:Objective To explore effect of Chifukang oral liquid(COL)and repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation therapy on prospective memory impairment post stroke. Methods All patients matched the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into 3 groups:Group A (n=18)treated with repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation with COL,group B (n=20)treated with COL,and group C (n=20)treated with repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation. The effects were evaluated by the Cambridge prospective memory test scale (CAMPROMPT)and Score of Rivermead Behavioral Memory Test (RBMT)before and after treatment. Results After treatment,RBMT and CAMPROMPT scores in group A and group B were improved statistically (P<0.05),comparing to that in control group.RBMT and CAMPROMPT scores were no statistically significant among the three groups before treatment (P>0.05). After treatment, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion COL,repetitive transcranial magnetic stimula-tion,and combined together could improve prospective memory in patients post stroke.
