Toll Receptor 4/NF kB Signaling Pathway in Atherosclerotic Vulnerable Plaque
Abstract：Toll receptor 4(TLR4)can identify PAMPs,and promote leukocyte infiltration,the formation of lipid core,the thinning of the fibrous cap and angiogenesis and so on.It has a extremely important role in the development of atherosclerosis vulnerable plaque.TLR4 can activate nuclear factor kappa B (NF κB)transcription factors and proinflammatory protein,then promote the in-flammatory reaction and increase the instability of atherosclerotic plaque inflammation.This review will discuss advances of the rela-tionship between TLR4/NF κB signaling pathway and atherosclerotic vulnerableplaque from three aspects.
