Clinical Observation on Songling Xuemaikang Capsules and Deanxit in the Treatment of Depression after Cerebral Infarction
Abstract：Objective To observe the curative effects of Songling Xuemaikang capsules(SXC)and deanxit in the treatment of de-pression after cerebral infarction.Methods Sixty six patients with depression after cerebral infarction were randomly divided into two groups:Control group(n=30)treated by deanxit and treatment group (n=36)treated by SXC on the basis of routine treatment. Before treatment and after treatment of one month,the two groups were assigned with Hamilton rating seale for depression (HAMD),National Institutes of Health Scoring Scales (NIHSS)and Barthel Index scale (BI)scores,and then compared the two groups.Results Compared with control group,the HAMD score and NIHSS score of treatment group was significantly lowered(P<0.05),BI score was significantly improved(P<0.05),but there was no significant differences between the side effects(P>0.05). Conclusion Addition of Songling xuemaikang capsules to Deanxit showed better efficacy than Deanxit alone for depression after cere-bral infarction.
