Regulatory Effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine Supplementing Qi and Activating Blood on Microemboli in Ischemic Stroke
Abstract：Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of benefiting qi for activating blood circulation on microemboli of cerebral infarction.Methods Eighty cerebral infarction patients with positive microemboli were divided randomly into treatment group (n=40)treated with traditional Chinese Medicine “benefiting qi for activating blood circulation”and control group treated with placebo. All patients treated with the same internal medicine and rehabilitation therapy.Results The number of microemboli in both groups were decreased significantly (P<0.05),and that in the treatment group was better than that in control group (P<0.05).Curative effect in both groups were effective significantly (P<0.05),and that in treatment group was better than that in control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicine Supplementing Qi and activating blood circulation could significantly reduce the number of microemboli in patients with ischemic stroke patients and improve patient prognosis.
