Effects of Qizhi Liquid on Superoxide Dismutase and Malondialdehyde in Rabbit with Atheroscterosis
Abstract：Objective To study the effects of Qizhi Liquid on superoxide dismutase (SOD) and malondialdehyde (MDA) in rabbit with arteroscterosis.Methods The healthy New Zealand male rabbits were divided into four groups at random:Normal group fed with common rabbit forage,model group,test group fed with Qizhi Liquid and control group fed with simvastatin.SOD and MDA were tested.Results Compared with model group,the serum contents of MDA in test group were decreased (P<0.01),while SOD were increased significantly (P<0.01).Conclusion Qizhi Liquid could increase the contents of SOD and decrease the contents of MDA and to restrain the production of lipid peroxidation.
