The Effects of Shenfu Injection on Apoptosis Related Factors in Rat Model of Heart Failure
Abstract：Objective To investigate the effects of Shenfu injection on tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6) and soluble Fas(sFas) in rat model witd heart failure.Methods Rat model with heart failure after myocardial infarction was established by ligating the left anterior descending branch of coronary artery.38 rats were randomized into three groups:Sharm-operated group (the surgical process was placed but not ligated n=14),model group (n=13) and shenfu injection group (n=11).After operation for one week the rats of shenfu injection group were treated with shenfu injection (6.2mlokg1od1) and the other two groups were treated with equal 0.9% sodium chloride for 4 weeks.The level of TNF-α,IL-6 and sFas were detected.Results Compared with sharm-operated group,the level of TNF-α,IL-6 and sFas of rats in the heart failure group significantly increased (P<0.01).Shenfu injection decreased the plasma content of TNF-α,IL-6 and sFas.Conclusion Shenfu injection could improve the heart function of rats of heart failure,which might be due to TNF-α,IL-6 and sFas in blood.
