Effect of Edaravone with Kudiezi Injection on Plasma C - reactive Protein and Interleukin - 6 in Acute Cerebral Infarction
Abstract：Objective To investigate the effect of edaravone with Kudiezi(ixeri sonhifolia) injection on plasma C- reactive protein (CRP) and interleukin - 6(IL - 6) in patients(pts) with acute cerebral infarction(ACI). Methods Ninety - two pts with ACI were randomly divided into two groups:Treatment group treated by edaravone with Kudiezi injection and control group treated by Kudiezi injection. The levels of plasma CRP and IL - 6 were determined before and after treatment. Results After treatment, the levels of plasma CRP in treatment group and control group were decreased by 18.8% and 46.72%,respectively,and plasma IL- 6 levels were decreased by 12.7% and 9.6% respectively(P<0.05 or P<0.01). Conclasion Edaravone with Kudiezi injection had protective effect on brain tissue by lowering plasma CRP and IL - 6 levels.
