Clinical Study on Acute Coronary Syndrome Patients undergoing Percutaneous Coronary Intervention Treated by Experienced Prescriptions of Deng Tietao
Abstract:Objective To evaluate the effect and safety of experienced prescriptions of Deng Tietao on acute coronary syndrome (ACS) patients(pts) undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention(PCl). Methods The clinical randomized control trial was adopted. The object of the study include the ACS pts undergoing PCI who diagnosed by syndrome of Qi - deficiency and phlegm and stagnated blood. To compare symptom integral of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) and quality of life, grade of angina pectoris and incident of cardiovascular event between the treatment group treated by experienced prescriptions of Deng Tietao plus conventional therapy and the control group treated by conventional therapy. The course of treatment was 14 days, and follow - up 1 month. Results The symptom integral of TCM in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group, and there was statistical significance in 15th day after treatment and 30th day after follow - up(P<0.05). The integral of physical limitation(PL) ,angina stability(AS)and treatment satisfaction(TS) for Seattle angina questionnaire(SAQ) in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05). There was no statistical significance in the integral of angina frequency(AF) and disease perception(DP)for SAQ and the grade of an-gina pectoris m 15th day after treatment and 30th day after follow - up between the two groups(P>0.05). There was no cardiovas-cular event during treatment and follow - up in the two groups. Conclusion Experienced prescriptions of Deng Tietao which had effects of reinforcing Qi,expeling phlegm and activating blood could alleviate clinical symptoms and improve quality of life on ACS pts undergoing PCI.
