Abstract:The steel lifting machine is a core equipment in the continuous casting billet extraction system, and its performance directly impacts production efficiency and safety. To address the issues of excessive weight of the lifting frame and prolonged operational cycles in traditional rack-and-pinion steel lifting machines, proposes an optimized four-bar linkage transmission system.Through mechanism simplification, static and dynamic modeling,a comparative analysis is conducted on the driving torque, operational efficiency, and applicable scenarios of the two structures. The results demonstrate that the four-bar linkage steel lifting machine achieves a 64.1%reduction in lifting frame weight,a 66.3%shortening of the operational cycle, significantly outperforming the rack-and-pinion structure.Furthermore, engineering cases validate the advantages of the four-bar linkage mechanism in small-section high-speed continuous casting machines, providing a theoretical basis for the selection of casting machines.
