Abstract:The traditional column structure has a large mass and low material utilization rate, which makes it difficult to improve the stability, accuracy and efficiency of the machine tool. With the development of computer engineering software, the research methods for the lightweight design of columns have been improved.Based on SolidWorks,a parametric three-dimensional model of the column was established, and static and modal analyses were carried out through ANSYS Workbench.Combined with the shape characteristics of the column, unit structures of grid and X-shaped stiffeners were designed.Through simulation and comparison, the grid-shaped stiffener was selected.Further, the response surface optimization method was used to conduct DOE experimental design and response surface model selection for 14 key dimensions of the column. Finally, candidate point 1 was selected under the multi-objective optimization of the column based on the genetic algorithm. The research results show that the mass of the new column structure is reduced by 5.7%while maintaining the static and dynamic mechanical performance changes within a small range, achieving the lightweight design of the column structure.
