Abstract:Titanium alloy tubing,as a key basic material in high-end manufacturing,is widely used in aerospace, marine engineering, energy and chemical industries and other frontier fields.First, introducing the main applications of titanium alloy tubing,as well as commonly used material grades and their performance characteristics. It then provides a comparative analysis of three mainstream production processes:plate(strip)welding method, drilling and extrusion method and slant rolling and piercing method, pointing out the applicability and limitations of each process in different application scenarios. On this basis,it focuses on the typical deformation mechanism and the influence of rolling parameters in the hot rolling process of titanium alloy tubing, and analyses the synergistic effect of key processes such as slant rolling and piercing, continuous rolling, and setting(reducing)diameter.Further, the typical applications of finite element simulation in the production of titanium alloy tubes, including the analysis of three-dimensional stress field, the prediction of metal flow behavior and the simulation implementation of fracture criterion, especially the numerical simulation of the Mannesmann effect is discussed in detail. It provides theoretical reference and technical support for the in-depth study of the forming mechanism of titanium alloy tubes and process optimization.
