Abstract:As an important deceleration and torque increasing mechanism in mechanical equipment, the reducer can not only change the direction of power transmission during mechanical transmission, but also provide buffering and shock absorption effects, and protect mechanical devices. Its transmission form usually adopts gear transmission. This article focuses on the study of damage to helical gears and bearings.Firstly,a mechanical analysis was conducted on the bearings and gears.Secondly,Solidworks was used to establish a three-dimensional model of the reducer, and Romax software was used to simulate the damage and loading of bearings and gears during the working process of the reducer. The final research results show that the bearing on the right side of the second shaft is most severely damaged, and the contact stress of small gear 2 and small gear 3 is the highest in the three-stage reducer. The study has certain engineering guidance significance for the development and application of industrial reducers.
