Abstract:To the problem of dark grain defects on the strip steel during the rolling process of a domestic double rack dry leveling unit, the reasons for the formation of dark grains were analyzed based on equipment characteristics, and a judgment index for dark grain come into being was established according to the stress conditions of the strip steel. Then by redistributing the elongation of each stand and setting the tension system, and using the plate shape quality and the dark grain index of each stand as constraint conditions, the optimization objective function was determined, and ultimately forming an optimized rolling schedule plan with dark grain control as the objective in the dry leveling process. And being applied to a certain leveling unit, theresults of the actual production showed that the probability of steel dark lines was reduced and the surface quality of steel was improved under the premise ofthe unit stable and normal production.
