Analysis and experimental research of wind power gear grinding crack

Abstract：Gear grinding is the last process of the wind power gear machining process , also, it is the key work-ing process, and the grinding quality directly affect the gear box overall quality .In this paper, Grinding cracks of gear two stage solar wheel for 3MW wind power gear box are physical-chemical inspected and analyzed . Cause of grinding cracks is analyzed by using surface analysis , chemical composition analysis , metallographic a-nalysis, heat treatment process analysis , and so on.According to the analysis results , it is obtained that the preset gap and coarse grinding feed are key factors of the cracks .
