Analysis on the influence of anti-crossbow roller’ s reduction to buckling defects in tension leveling process

Abstract：For the phenomenon of strip steel buckling appeared in the process of tension leveling was de -scribed , through the ANSYS/ls-dyna finite element analysis to study the straightening roll reduction to the influ-ence of the buckling defects , and experimental analysis was executed on a tension leveler of 2 bending unit and 1 leveling unit.It can be concluded from the result datas that the Strip tension should be controled in a certain range in the process of leveling , otherwise excessive tension is not conducive to the eliminates the buckling de-fect.And with the roller reduction increasing , the strip buckling decreases correspondingly .
