Design of monitoring system based on ARM Cortex-M4 for shearer disk brake

Abstract：A monitoring system based on STM32F401RC for shearer disc brake was designed in this paper . This system could solve the potential danger because of the high temperature and heavy wear loss for the friction plate of shearer disk brake .32 ARM STM32 F401 RC was chosen as core CPU , which got fast performance speed and high accuracy .AD623 was chosen as thermocouple amplifier circuit and DS 18 B20 as temperature cold junction compensation circuit , which improved accuracy of temperature measurement .The system could display the temperature and friction , and it set overrun alarm to ensure safety performance of disk brake .
