Exploration of wind power bearing ring forming

Abstract：Bearing as the core components of wind power equipment , has the special requirement of high relia-bility and long life .Meanwhile , bearing ring is the main part of wind power bearing .Arming at the usual de-fects in actual production process , such as ovality , nonuniform wall thickness , taper and no expansible diame-ter, comparing with its current manufacturing method , which is called ring rolling .A new method called rolling and bulging matching techniques is proposed .This paper gives a careful introduction of scale ring forming process, bulging process and the feasibility for wind power bearing ring bulging forming .
