Abstract：This paper focuses on clamping mechanism of stretcher,establishes two mechanical models for pre-clamping process and adaptive clamping process,determines the outward pre-thrust force for clamping of plates, analyses stable and reliable boundary conditions of adaptive-clamping,determines a calculation method for a reasonable inclined face angle,which provides sufficient theoretical support for design stretcher clamp.
