Abstract：As large-scale one-piece porcelain insulator cannot be produced in our country at present, Xi′an Heavy Machinery Research Institute has provided the latest type of blank trimmers for “Xi′an shuangjia High-voltage porcelain Insulator Co.Lit.”successively. The trimmer has been developed from numerical control plus profile modeling, then inside and outside shape process with full numerical control till three-working-position dry process with full numerical control, offering first-class advanced equipment for high-voltage large-scale porcelain insulator blank-making industry in china.
