FEM in temperature field calculation for heavy-duty reducer
Abstract：In this paper heavy-duty reducer internal heat sources andtransmission ways are analyzed and steady-state heat transfer model is given,and three-dimensional temperature field is calculated using finite element method (FEM).The study results show that temperature field of heavy-duty reducer can coincide in the engineering actual need using FEM. Therefore, the work presents a foundation for modifying heat release conduction and designing cooling installation.
