Abstract:Objective:To investigate the influence of sevelamer carbonate, lanthanum carbonate complicated by hemodialysis on calcium-phosphorus metabolism and renal function in chronic renal failure(CRF)patients.Method:A total of 106 CRF patients admitted to the Seventh People's Hospital of Yancheng from March 2023 to March 2025 were randomly assigned using a random number table to two groups with 53 cases in each group. The control group received hemodialysis combined with lanthanum carbonate therapy, while the observation group additionally received sevelamer carbonate on the basis of control group.Clinical efficacy,calcium-phosphorus metabolism, renal function, and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:Compared with the control group, the total effective rate and serum calcium(Ca)levels were higher in the observation group after treatment, while serum phosphorus(P),blood urea nitrogen, and serum creatinine levels were lower, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The comparison of the rate of adverse reactions in both groups expressed no statistical difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:The efficacy of sevelamer carbonate combined with lanthanum carbonate and hemodialysis in treating CRF is well-established.This combination modulates calcium and phosphorus metabolism, improves renal function, and demonstrates favorable safety.
