The Impact of Perma Mode under Root Cause Analysis on Postoperative Coping Strategies,Spiritual Health and Complications of Colorectal Cancer Patients

Abstract:Objective:To explore the impact of the Positive Emotions Engagement Interpersonal Relationships Meaning Achievement(PERMA)model under root cause analysis on postoperative coping strategies,spiritual health and complications in colorectal cancer patients.Method:120 colorectal cancer surgery patients admitted to Rudong County People's Hospital in Jiangsu Province from May 2023 to May 2025 were randomly divided into a control group(60 cases,receiving routine care)and an observation group(60 cases,receiving PERMA mode intervention under root cause analysis)using a random number table method.The coping strategies,spiritual health,and incidence of complications between the two groups were compared.Result:After the intervention,the observation group exhibited superior coping styles and spiritual health scores compared to the control group,with a lower incidence of complications,showing statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:The PERMA model based on root cause analysis can optimize postoperative coping strategies for colorectal cancer patients,improve their spiritual health,and reduce the incidence of complications.
