The Therapeutic Effect of Modified Banxia Xiexin Decoction Combined with Quadruple Therapy on Helicobacter Pylori Infected Peptic Ulcers

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the therapeutic effect of modified Banxia Xiexin Decoction on digestive ulcer combined with helicacter pylori infection,and to explore its efficacy and improvement of inflammatory factors.Method:A total of 86 patients with helicobacter pylori infected peptic ulcer treated in the Beijing First Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine Hospital from January 2022 to January 2024.They were divided into groups according to the treatment methods,the treatment group patients were treated Banxia Xiexin Decoction combined with a quadruple therapy,and the control group was treated with western medicine,follow up for half a year after treatment.The positive rate of 13C breath and test clinical symptoms of the two groups of patients before and after 2,4 and 6 weeks of treatment were compared.The recurrence of Helicobacter pylori infection and ulcer,detect interleukin were compared between the two groups.The incidence of adverse reactions and the total effective rate of patients after treatment were compared between the two groups.Result:The helicobacter pylori positive rate in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group after 4 and 6 weeks of treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the symptom scores for abdominal pain,upper abdominal bloating,acid reflux,and belching in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically differences(P<0.05).Within six months,the rates of Helicobacter pylori reinfection and ulcer recurrence in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically differences(P<0.05).The levels of interleukin-6,interleukin-8,and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group after treatment.During the treatment period,the incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment in the treatment group was higher than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Banxia Xiexin Decoction combined with modified prescription can significantly improve the clinical symptoms patients,improve the levels of inflammatory factors,reduce the reinfection rate of Helicobacter pylori and the recurrence rate of ulcer,and improve the clinical efficacy.
