Abstract:Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of aminocaproic acid combined with carboxymethyl colchicine and amantadine in patients with postpartum hemorrhage due to uterine atony(PPH).Method:A total of 80 PPH patients with uterine atony admitted at China Guizhou Airlines Group 302 Hospital between January 2021 and January 2025 were enrolled. They were randomly divided into two groups of 40 patients using a random number table method. The control group received carboxymethyl colchicine and amantadine, while the observation group received aminocaproic acid combined with carboxymethyl colchicine and amantadine. The postpartum hemorrhage volume, coagulation factors, and treatment safety were compared between the two groups.Result:Compared with the control group, the observation group showed significantly lower hemorrhage volumes at 2 h and 24 h postpartum, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The observation group also demonstrated higher fibrinogen(FIB)levels, lower D-dimer(D-D)levels,and shorter prothrombin time(PT)and activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT)compared to the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Adverse reactions were comparable between the two groups, with statistically significant differences(P>0.05).Conclusion:Aminocaproic acid combined with carboxymethyl colchicine and amantadine effectively reduces postpartum hemorrhage volume and improves coagulation factor levels in patients with PPH due to uterine atony, without significantly increasing adverse reactions.
