Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effects of remimazolam besylate on postoperative pain and serum inflammatory markers in patients with femoral neck fracture(FNF).Method:98 FNF patients admitted to the QianDongNanZhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine between April 2023 and April 2025 were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group according to the random number table method, with 49 patients in each group. The control group received propofol for anesthesia maintenance, while the observation group received remimazolam besylate.Pain intensity at rest and during passive movement was assessed using the Numerical Rating Scale(NRS)immediately after extubation(T0),and at 2 h(T1),4 h(T2),8 h(T3),12 h(T4),24 h(T5),and 48 h(T6)postoperatively.Opioid consumption during 0~24 h and 24~48 h post-surgery was recorded.Blood samples were collected preoperatively at T0,6 h post-surgery,T5,and T6 to measure interleukin-6(IL-6)and C-reactive protein(CRP)levels.Postoperative safety was monitored, and time to first ambulation and hospital stay were recorded.Result:The observation group showed significantly lower NRS scores at T1~T6 under both conditions compared to the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Opioid consumption during 0~24 h and 24~48 h,time to first ambulation, and hospital stay were significantly lower in the observation group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).IL-6 and CRP levels at 6 h post-surgery,T5,and T6 were also significantly lower in the observation group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:Remimazolam besylate alleviates postoperative pain, reduces opioid consumption, and promotes recovery in FNF patients. Its mechanism may be associated with the suppression of inflammatory responses.
