Abstract:Objective:To analyze the factors influencing volume management behaviors in maintenance hemodialysis(MHD)patients and propose corresponding interventions.Method:A retrospective analysis was conducted on clinical data from 180 MHD patients at Zunyi First People's Hospital between January and December 2023.Volume management behavior was assessed using a volume management behavior scale, while general data including gender, age, marital status, household monthly income, dialysis duration, and complications were collected.Univariate and multivariate analyses were performed to identify factors affecting MHD patients'volume management behaviors.Result:The mean volume management behavior score for the 180 MHD patients was(17.26±2.31)points.Univariate analysis showed there were no statistically significant differences in scores for age, gender, marital status, dialysis frequency, living alone status, and complications(P>0.05).The Univariate analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in the capacity management behavior scores among different leves of education,self-efficacy,monthly family income, and medical payment methods.(P<0.05).Multivariate linear regression analysis revealed that high school education or below,self-efficacy scores<24 points, unemployment, household income<5 000 yuan,out-of-pocket payments, and dialysis duration≥3 years were all high-risk factors for poor volume management behavior. Conclusion:MHD patients exhibit low levels of volume management behavior, which correlates with education level,self-efficacy,household income, and payment methods.Clinical interventions should be scientifically designed to improve these behaviors.
