Research Progress on Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Treatment of Degenerative Lumbar Spinal Stenosis

Abstract：Degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis(DLSS)is a common spinal disease in orthopedics and traumatology.For patients with severe DLSS who have failed to respond to non-surgical treatment,especially those with progressive neurological dysfunction,surgical treatment is the preferred option.For patients with mild to moderate DLSS,conservative treatment with traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)is more preferred.TCM has rich experience in treating DLSS,with multiple treatment methods and precise efficacy.This article provides a review of TCM treatments for DLSS in recent years.
