Abstract:Objective:To explore the improvement effect of structured nursing intervention(compared with conventional nursing)on the quality of life(QoL)and functional score of patients with permanent pacemaker implantation for coronary heart disease, and to analyze the correlation between the two, providing evidence-based basis for optimizing postoperative care.Method:A retrospective design was adopted.A total of 117 patients with coronary heart disease pacemaker implantation admitted to the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine of Beijing Aerospace General Hospital from February 2021 to December 2024 were selected and randomly divided into the observation group(59 cases, structured care:standardized health education+individualized rehabilitation training+systematic follow-up)and the control group(58 cases, routine care). The primary outcome measures included the total score of the Short Form 36-item Health Survey(SF-36)for assessing quality of life, the Barthel Index(BI)for assessing basic living abilities, and the Lawton Instrumental Activities of Daily Living(IADL)for assessing higher-order functions.Secondary outcomes involved complication rates, readmission rates and satisfaction.Result:The total score of SF-36 in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).The Barthel index and Lawton IADL score also improved significantly, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).The change value of the total score of SF-36 was strongly correlated with the change value of Barthel index, and the difference was statistically significant(r=0.712,P<0.001),and moderately correlated with the change value of IADL,and the difference was statistically significant(r=0.486,P<0.001).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the patient satisfaction was higher. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).Conclusion:Structured nursing can significantly improve the quality of life and functional status of patients with coronary heart disease pacemakers, and reduce the risks of complications and readmission. The improvement of quality of life is moderately to strongly correlated with functional scores, supporting the integration of multi-dimensional assessment into the clinical nursing pathway.
