Abstract:Objective:To explore the application value of rhubarb enema-assisted hierarchical intervention program in patients with acute pancreatitis.Method:A total of 102 patients with acute pancreatitis admitted to Nantong Rehabilitation Hospital from June 2023 to December 2024 were selected as the study objects and divided into the control group and the experimental group by random number table method, with 51 cases in each group. The control group received conventional intervention, while the experimental group received a rhubarb enema combined with a hierarchical intervention plan. The gastrointestinal function(recovery time of abdominal pain, abdominal distension, bowel sounds, defecation, etc.),inflammatory factors[tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6)],disease severity[indicators for estimating the severity of acute pancreatitis(Ranson score)],Pancreatic CT Severity Index(CTSI)score and gastrointestinal quality of life[Gastrointestinal Quality of Life Index(GIQLI)score]were compared between the two groups.Result:After the intervention, the recovery time of abdominal pain, abdominal distension, bowel sounds and defecation in the experimental group was shorter than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of TNF-α,CRP and IL-6 in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The Ranson score and CTSI score of the experimental group were lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The GIQLI scores of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Rhubarb enema assisted hierarchical intervention can effectively promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function in patients with acute pancreatitis, reduce the levels of inflammatory factors, alleviate the severity of the disease, and improve the quality of gastrointestinal life.
