Abstract:Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of precision moxibustion in patients with cervical spondylosis and neck pain accompanied by negative emotions.Method:A total of 105 patients with cervical spondylosis and neck pain accompanied by negative emotions who were admitted to Liaobu Hospital in Dongguan City from May 2023 to December 2024 were selected as the research subjects and randomly divided into the sham moxibustion group, the precision moxibustion group, and the acupuncture group, with 35 cases in each group. All three groups selected bilateral Fengchi,Jingbailao,Jianzhongshu,Jianjing,Xinshu and Dangshu, and were respectively treated with fake mugwort, fine moxibustion and acupuncture.Observe and compare the tenderness threshold, the score of Northwick Park Neck Pain Scale, the score of McGill Pain Question-naire(NPQ),and the scores of Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)and Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)before and after treatment in each group.Result:After treatment, the tenderness threshold of the left Fengchi point in the precision moxibustion group and the right Fengchi point in the acupuncture group was significantly higher than that in the sham moxibustion group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).After treatment, the tenderness threshold of the right Fengchi point in the precision moxibustion group and the left Fengchi point in the acupuncture group was higher than that in the sham moxibustion group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the bilateral shoulder mid-shu tenderness thresholds in the precision moxibustion group and the acupuncture group were significantly higher than those in the sham moxibustion group and before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).After treatment, the scores of the MPQ and the NPQ in the precision moxibustion group were significantly lower than those in the sham moxibustion group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).After treatment, the scores of the MPQ and the NPQ in the acupuncture group were lower than those in the sham moxibustion group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of the MPQ and the NPQ in the precision moxibustion group and the acupuncture group were significantly lower than those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).After treatment, the scores of the SDS and the SAS in the precision moxibustion group and the acupuncture group were significantly lower than those in the sham moxibustion group and before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion:Acupuncture and fine moxibustion have comparable therapeutic effects on patients with cervical spondylosis and negative emotions. Both are beneficial for relieving neck pain, reducing patients'negative emotions, and improving their quality of life. However,in clinical practice, precise moxibustion treatment can be selected based on the advantages of moxibustion and the patient's condition. This not only enhances the therapeutic effect but also promotes the development of moxibustion therapy techniques.
