Abstract:Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy and safety of intravesical traditional Chinese medicine perfusion in patients with kidney deficiency and damp-heat type overactive bladder(OAB).Method:A total of 73 patients diagnosed with OAB in the Department of Urology of Rongchang District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Chongqing from January 2022 to September 2024 were selected as the study objects and randomly enrolled in the Yisang Liquid group and the Solinaxin group respectively according to the random number table method. Both groups were orally administered Solina succinate tablets. In the Yisang Liquid group,a self-designed traditional Chinese medicine formula(Yisang Liquid)was added for bladder perfusion twice a week, with the perfusion retained for 1 hour. The TCM syndrome score,OABSS\,OAB-Q short form, clinical efficacy evaluation and incidence of adverse reactions of patients with OAB in the two groups after 8 weeks of treatment were analyzed.Result:Before treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in the TCM syndrome score,OABSS,and OAB-q short form between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the TCM syndrome score,OABSS,and OAB-q short form of the two groups of patients were all improved compared with those before treatment. Moreover, the Yisang Liquid group had a significant advantage over the solifenaxin group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Moreover,the adverse reaction rate in the Yisang Liquid group(16.67%)did not increase significantly. Conclusion:Intravesical infusion of traditional Chinese medicine(Yisang Liquid)can effectively improve the symptoms of kidney deficiency and damp-heat type overactive bladder(OAB),with good safety. It provides a new treatment method for the clinical treatment of OAB and is worthy of further research and promotion.
