Effect of Emotional Nursing Combined with Acupoint Moxibustion in Patients with Stomach Pain and Spleen and Stomach Deficiency Cold Syndrome

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effectiveness of emotional nursing combined with acupoint moxibustion in the care of patients with stomach pain and spleen-stomach deficiency-cold syndrome.Method:60 patients with stomach pain and spleen-stomach deficiency-cold syndrome admitted to Bijie City Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from May 2024 to May 2025 were randomly divided into a control group(30 cases)and an observation group(30 cases).The control group received acupoint moxibustion,while the observation group received emotional nursing combined with acupoint moxibustion.The negative emotions,TCM syndrome scores,and pain levels of both groups were compared.Result:After intervention,Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale(HAMA),Hamilton Depression Rating Scale 17 items(HAMD-17),TCM syndrome scores,and Visual Analog Scale(VAS)scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:Emotional nursing combined with acupoint moxibustion can effectively alleviate negative emotions in patients with stomach pain and spleen-stomach deficiency-cold syndrome,improve TCM syndrome scores,and reduce pain levels.
