Abstract:Objective:Study the impact of the behavior-based staged transformation theory(TTM)model on early peritoneal dialysis patients.Method:80 patients with early peritoneal dialysis patients admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine from January 2023 to December 2024 were selected as the research subjects. The subjects were divided into the control group and the experimental group using the random double-color ball method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received routine intervention, while the experimental group received intervention based on the TTM model. The nutritional status, quality of life, psychological emotions,self-efficacy,nursing satisfaction, and incidence of complications were compared between two groups.Result:After intervention, there were no statistically significant differences in serum albumin, serum total iron binding capacity, and hemoglobin between the two groups compared with those before the intervention(P>0.05).After intervention, the nutritional indicators in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention, there were no statistically significant differences in the quality of life scores between the two groups compared to those before the care(P>0.05).The quality of life score of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before intervention, there was no statistically significant difference in psychological emotions between the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention, the emotional index scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before intervention, there was no statistically significant difference in self-efficacy between the two groups(P>0.05).After the intervention, the self-efficacy score of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),The nursing satisfaction of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the incidence of complications was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Nursing interventions based on the TTM model can improve the nutritional status of early peritoneal dialysis patients, enhance their self-efficacy,regulate their negative emotional states, reduce the probability of complications, and achieve high patient satisfaction with nursing care.
