Abstract:Objective:To explore the application effect of infection intervention based on the Diagnosis-related Grouping(DRG)model in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)and its impact on the incidence of nosocomial infections.Method:A prospective cohort study was conducted.200 inpatients from the Department of Respiratory Medicine and ICU of the Second Hospital of Nanping City from December 2023 to January 2025 were selected as the subjects.Among them,100 cases received early intervention with infection control measures(early intervention group),and 100 cases received conventional treatment(conventional group). For the two groups of patients, whether hospital infection occurred was taken as the exposure factor respectively.Patients who experienced hospital-acquired infections were included in the early intervention group, while the remaining patients were included in the conventional group. The average length of hospital stay, total hospitalization cost,DRG enrollment at discharge, drug proportion, incidence of complications and patient satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Result:Different methods of intervention were given to the conventional group and the early intervention group.Eventually,21 cases were included in the early intervention group and 179 cases in the conventional group. The average length of hospital stay, total hospitalization cost and the proportion of drug use in the early intervention group were lower than those in the conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The enrollment rate of DRG and the incidence of complications in the early intervention group after discharge were lower than those in the conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction of patients in the early intervention group after lower sensory intervention under the DRG model was higher than that in the conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The DRG model for lower infection intervention has a good effect in patients with COPD.It can shorten the average length of hospital stay, reduce the total hospitalization cost, lower the proportion of DRG enrollment and medication at discharge, help reduce the incidence of complications, and improve patient satisfaction.
