Abstract:Objective:Investigating the effects of fluvoxamine maleate tablets on clinical symptoms and mood status in patients with refractory gastroesophageal reflux disease.Method:A total of 120 patients with refractory gastroesophageal reflux disease admitted to People's Hospital of Yangdong District Yangjiang City from July 2022 to December 2024 were enrolled. They were randomly assigned to either the Delixin group(n=60)or the control group(n=60).The control group received esomeprazole plus itopride, while the Delixin group received fluvoxamine maleate tablets in addition to the reference group's regimen. Both groups underwent 8 weeks of treatment. The study compared treatment efficacy rates, emotional status, reflux symptoms, serum inflammatory factor levels, vasoactive intestinal peptide levels, and gastrin levels between groups, along with adverse reaction incidence rates.Result:The total effective rate in the Delixin group was significantly higher than that in the reference group, with a significant difference(P<0.05).After 8 weeks of treatment, scores on the Reflux Symptom Index(RSI),Gastrointestinal Impact Scale(GIS),Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),and Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS)were lower than baseline in both groups. The Dailixin group showed lower scores than the reference group, with significant differences(P<0.05).After 8 weeks of treatment, both groups showed lower levels of interleukin-1β(IL-1β),interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),and vasoactive intestinal peptide(VIP)compared to baseline.However,interleukin-2(IL-2)and gastrin levels were significantly higher than baseline, with significant differences(P<0.05).After 8 weeks of treatment, the Dailixin group exhibited lower levels of IL-1β,IL-6,TNF-α,and vasoactive intestinal peptide compared to the reference group, while IL-2 and gastrin levels were higher than the reference group, with significant differences(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the Dailixin group showed no significant difference compared to the reference group(P>0.05).Conclusion:Fluvoxamine maleate tablets effectively regulate mood states and alleviate clinical symptoms in patients with refractory gastroesophageal reflux disease, while demonstrating favorable safety profiles.
