Abstract:Objective:To investigate the efficacy of modified leg elevation combined with acupoint application in the treatment of postoperative deep vein thrombosis(DVT)in the lower extremities.Method:A total of 98 patients with lower limb deep vein thrombosis(DVT)admitted to Nanxishan Hospital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, from June 2023 to March 2025 were enrolled.Patients were randomly assigned to group A and B using a random number table, with 49 patients in each group.Group A received acupoint plaster application, while group B received modified leg elevation with a pillow combined with acupoint plaster application. The serum D-dimer levels, changes in upper and lower leg circumferences, and visual analog scale(VAS)scores were observed in both groups, and clinical efficacy was assessed at the end of the intervention.Result:After intervention, the serum D-dimer levels, thigh circumference difference, and calf circumference difference decreased significantly in both groups, and the serum D-dimer levels, thigh circumference difference, and calf circumference difference in group B were significantly lower than those in group A,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).After intervention,VAS scores decreased significantly in both groups, and group B showed lower scores than group A,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).10 days after intervention, the clinical total effective rate in group B reached 97.96%,higher than the 81.63%in group A,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:The modified leg elevation pillow combined with acupoint application significantly improves thrombosis-related indicators and clinical symptoms in patients with postoperative lower limb DVT,thereby enhancing the therapeutic efficacy of lower limb DVT treatment.
