Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of floating needle combined with acupuncture in the treatment of non-specific low back pain(NLBP).Method:A retrospective analysis was performed for the data of 60 patients with NLBP who were admitted to Juba Teaching Hospital in South Sudan from September 2024 to January 2025.The patients were divided into treatment group and control group, and the effect of patients before and after treatment was evaluated.Result:After the intervention, the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)scores and Oswestry Disability Index(ODI)of both groups decreased.Compared with the baseline, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).In the comparison between groups, the VAS score,Oswestry disability index and effective rate of the treatment group were all superior to those of the control group after treatment, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Fu's subcutaneous needling therapy with acupuncture is effective and superior to acupuncture alone in the treatment of non-specific low back pain, which is helpful to relieve pain and improve activity function.
