Abstract:Objective:To analyze the efficacy of combined breathing training and biofeedback therapy for postpartum stress urinary incontinence.Method:A total of 60 patients with postpartum stress urinary incontinence admitted to the People's Hospital Affiliated to Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine between July 2023 and October 2024 were selected as study subjects. They were randomly assigned by computer to either the study group(n=30,receiving biofeedback therapy)or the control group(n=30,receiving respiratory training in addition to the control group regimen). The International Continence Society Short Form questionnaire(ICI-Q-SF)scores,pelvic floor electromyography values, and Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)scores were assessed before and after treatment in both groups.Adverse reactions were also recorded.Result:After treatment, both groups showed reduced scores on the ICI-Q-SF compared to pre-treatment levels, and the study group's scores were lower, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).After treatment, the maximum amplitude of fast muscle activity in the pelvic floor muscles increased in both groups compared to pre-treatment levels, and the maximum amplitude in the study group was higher than that in the control group, and the SAS score in the study group was lower than that in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).There was no statistically difference in the incidence of adverse reactions(P>0.05).Conclusion:Combined breathing exercises and biofeedback therapy effectively improve postpartum stress urinary incontinence, enhance patients'pelvic floor function, and result in fewer adverse reactions.
