Insulin Pump and Dietary Guidance Combined to Improve Glycemic Index Control and Insulin Resistance in Gestational Diabetes Mellitus

Abstract：Objective:To analyze the effect of insulin pump combined with dietary guidance on patients with gestational diabetes.Method:120 patients with gestational diabetes admitted to Tongjiang Hospital in Guangdong Province from May 2023 to September 2024 were selected for the study.They were divided into the study group(insulin pump,dietary guidance combined treatment,60 cases)and the control group(conventional treatment,60 cases)according to the random number table method.The therapeutic effects,insulin resistance index,pancreatic β-cell function index,blood glucose indicators,and prognosis of the two groups were compared.Result:The therapeutic effect of the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group.The insulin resistance index,blood glucose indicators,and the incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes in the study group were all lower than those in the control group,and the pancreatic β-cell function index was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combined treatment of insulin pump and dietary guidance can improve the control effect of blood glucose indicators in gestational diabetes and improve insulin resistance.
